Administrative Assistant [Part-time]

Position Summary:  The assistant position will support the administrative activity of all StratusComm - Managed IT Services with the primary responsibility of helping reduce the administrative activity of the Business Manager and CEO/Managing Director. This person will support managing appointments, help maintain light accounting activity, prepare monthly reports for clients, help plan events, organize vendor activity, and other activities as needed.  
  

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Customer Service, communication, and documentation 

  • Manage the calendar and help organize the schedule 

  • Light Accounting type activity to help track profitability, accounts receivable, and invoicing.  

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to plan and coordinate events  

  • Help prepare Monthly Client reports for review and communication with the client 

  • Help organize staff and client information in an easy, consistent way 

  • Review Vendor relationships, profitability, and establish a clear renewal calendar for client invoicing 

  • Periodic in-person meetings are preferred 

  • Act as a representative of StratusComm- Managed IT Services 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Excellent customer service skills 

  • Excellent communicator (oral and written) 

  • A strong sense of urgency, commitment to results, collaboration, and flexibility. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to do day-to-day activities with a desire to learn and do more. 

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote 

  • Proactive - Ask questions - Soft Skills 

  • 1-2 years experience desired. 

  • Good troubleshooting skills 

  • Ability to work independently 

  • Ability to work a part-time work week with flexible hours.
